AI assistant

An assistant that plans with you, not for you.

Three buttons in the top bar, and a few more where they help. Every suggestion is a preview you can change, and every change can be undone.

  • Brain dump. Paste meeting notes, an email or a list of thoughts and get separate todos, with days, lists and estimates.
  • Plan my days. Pick the days and the hours you have on each; the AI estimates your todos and spreads them out, overdue and often-postponed work first.
  • I have time. Tell it you have 45 minutes and it picks what fits.
  • Clean up, sort and split. Today, later or drop for everything overdue; a list for every unsorted todo; small steps for a big task.

Reading list

Read later, and know what it's about now.

Paste a link, share one from your phone, or tell your assistant to save it. PEPS To Do reads the page, sorts it into a category, and writes a summary with the key points, so you can pick what's worth your time.

  • Sorted for you. Articles, X posts, videos, podcasts, GitHub, papers, or categories of your own. Drag an item to move it.
  • Summaries in your language. Dutch pages get a Dutch summary, everything else English. Even X posts and pages behind a cookie wall.
  • Plan it for today. Turn an article into a todo for today; tick it off and it moves to your Read archive.

Built for AI and automation

Your assistant can manage your todos too.

Connect Claude or ChatGPT in one step: paste todo.peps.tools/mcp as a connector, sign in with your passkey and choose what it may do. Then just ask it to plan your day, file todos from email, save an article for later, or clear out what's done. You stay in control.

  • You choose the access. Todos and the reading list by default; snippets only if you tick them. Disconnect an app or revoke a token any time.
  • OpenAPI docs. Every endpoint documented at /docs/api. Paste the spec into your assistant and it knows what to do.
  • Full activity log. See every change and which token made it, so you always know what your assistant did.

Questions, answered

Is it really free?

Yes. The Free plan is available now with open sign-up, no card required, and includes 20 AI assistant actions a day. A Pro plan with more storage and API tokens is coming later, and the Free plan stays.

What does the AI assistant do, and can it mess up my list?

It suggests; you decide. Brain dump, Plan my days, I have time, Clean up overdue, Sort into lists and Split into steps all show a preview you can change before anything happens, and every change can be undone for a day. Only the todos needed for that one request are sent to the AI provider (currently Claude by Anthropic), and only when you ask.

Do I need a password?

No. You sign in with a passkey, using your fingerprint, face or device PIN. If you lose your device, we email you a sign-in link so you can get back in and add a new passkey.

How do I connect Claude, ChatGPT or my own scripts?

In Claude or ChatGPT, add a custom connector with the URL todo.peps.tools/mcp, sign in with your passkey and choose what it may access. For scripts, create an API token in your settings, choose what it can access, and give it to your script. The OpenAPI docs at /docs/api describe every endpoint.

How does the reading list work?

Paste a link (or a few), share one from your phone, or ask your AI assistant to "save this for later". PEPS To Do reads the page, sorts it into a category you can edit, and writes a short summary with the key points: Dutch for Dutch pages, English for the rest. Tick it off when you have read it; it stays searchable in your Read archive.

How is my data protected?

Sign-in uses phishing-resistant passkeys, snippet values and paste fields are encrypted at rest, API tokens are scoped and can be revoked at any time, and the activity log shows exactly what changed and which app or token changed it.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. Open todo.peps.tools in your mobile browser and add it to your home screen. It runs full-screen like an app, with shortcuts to Today, All todos, the reading list and snippets. On Android you can share links straight to your reading list; on iPhone a one-time Shortcut does the same.

What happens when I delete a todo?

It goes to the trash, where you can restore it for 30 days. After that it is removed for good.
